    Hi

You can make use of Philips DICOM Validation Tool to validate your
    DICOM Images.
It provides the basic DICOM definitions for different kinds of Images.
You can download the tool from the following location.
    http://www.medical.philips.com/main/...-tool/DVT.html

    Hello,

PowerDicom (http://www.MHGSoft.de?PowerDicom) performs syntax checks on
the DICOM attributes and highlights invalid ones.

The OFFIS DCMCHECK tool provides a fairly thorough analysis of the DICOM
header, including conditions, defined terms etc. It is available for
Windows, however, it is a commercial product and not a free tool.

Not windows based, but you can probably compile it in the cygwin
    environment.
