    Google is your friend...

    RD31 is about 20MB when formatted (25MB unformatted) and and RD32 is
    about 42MB when formatted (51MB unformatted). Both are ST-506/MFM
    drives.

    Sorry, I guess I should have been more specific in my OP.

    I'm getting confusing/conflicting answers to the RD31/RD32 question re:
    Google. So I'm here trying to get an authorative answer.

    I got RD32= Seagate ST251 (20 Megabytes)
    and RD31=Seagate ST225 (40 Megabytes) or Miniscribe 3425

    Another Source says RD32=Seagate ST255(?)

    Seagate ST225 was 20 Meg...
    The ST251 was 40 Meg.

    the number after the 2 was unformatted megabytes IIRC.
