Posted on comp.os.vms, but you guys get a crack at it too

    I have a couple I may get rid of 500MHz mod 1 4cpu's 4GB 4-way
interleave. Make me a good offer, and I won't put them on ebay.
    I'll give it a week, let's say Tues 30-OCT-2006 by 18:00 PDT
Don't know how much shipping will be. They measure
    14" x 18" x 30" and they're pretty heavy, probably over 100 lbs,
although I was able (with some effort) lift them myself, probably need to
    be
crated, don't think cardboard would work. Here are the
specs. The each have two power supplies and there is room for a third.
I currently have each supply on a different phase. There are 4 18GB drives
with room for 4 more. These are hot swap. Firmware is latest The
    FC HBA's not included.

Strapping the system to a small pallet would work well, too. Cover and protect
the chassis with padding and heavy cardboard.

I've shipped big hulks like this before. Pretty darn expensive, because its
weight is over the 72(?) lb limit for UPS and it gets charged per an overweight
schedule. Same with other carriers. Tell people where you are and encourage
local pickup or delivery for a small fee within 50-100 miles... Ben Myers
