    You can....:-)

console-setup is maintained by the D-I team and lies in
    packages/console-setup in D-I SVN.....

Its PO file is currently not aggregated in the D-I master files
because console-setup is not used in D-I, so translators have to work
on it separately....but still can commit updates themselves.

PS: don't forget updating debian/changelog as well (including the
needed "Closes" statement for this bug report)

I am not sure how to edit changelog, I see the changelog last lines are:

    console-setup (1.22) UNRELEASED; urgency=low

    * Proofread and correct debconf templates (LP: #181860).
    * Treat 'any' as a synonym for 'NoSymbol' in XKB input files (LP: #93077).

Where insert my line? above this ?

The recommended method is using "dch" from the console-setup
    directory.

You'll then be throw in your favorite editor with this:

    console-setup (1.22) UNRELEASED; urgency=low

    [ Colin Watson ]
    * Proofread and correct debconf templates (LP: #181860).
    * Treat 'any' as a synonym for 'NoSymbol' in XKB input files (LP: #93077).

    [ Piarres Beobide ]
    *

    -- Piarres Beobide Fri, 07 Mar 2008 18:30:29 +0100

Then complete the line with the single "*" with something like:

    Basque translation update. Closes: #469650

    That will give:
    console-setup (1.22) UNRELEASED; urgency=low

    [ Colin Watson ]
    * Proofread and correct debconf templates (LP: #181860).
    * Treat 'any' as a synonym for 'NoSymbol' in XKB input files (LP: #93077).

    [ Piarres Beobide ]
    * Basque translation update. Closes: #469650

    ....and you're done.

This assumes that you have DEBEMAIL and DEBFULLNAME filled in with
your email and full name. The EMAIL variable will be used instead. See
    dch(1) for details.

OK, this took longer than doing all this myself but teaching is always
    good..:-)

That's fine, but technically speaking, you shouldn't have closed your
bug report. It will indeed be closed by the next upload because of the
"Closes: #469650" statement I suggested you to add there.

Hence, I'm reopening the bug report. I also "tag" it pending as the
    fix is indeed pending.

This mail is BCC'ed to "control@bugs.debian.org".....which will handle
the magic foudn in the first lines.

    Please also put 'DEBCHANGE_RELEASE_HEURISTIC=changelog' in
~/.devscripts; as of devscripts 2.10.11 this enables the -t option
automatically and thereby reduces noise in revision control.
