    Package: linux-modules-extra-2.6
    Version: 2.6.22-6
    Severity: wishlist

Subject: linux-modules-extra-2.6: please add 'Provides:' line to control files
    Package: linux-modules-extra-2.6
    Version: 2.6.22-6
    Severity: wishlist

    Hi,

please consider adding a 'Provides: ...' line to the control files of
the different module packages. This way, other packages are able to
depend on or to recommend or suggest a module package without
specifying a long list of all possible kernel versions.

FWIW, packages built with m-a already have a Provides: line.

    Cheers, Til
