Hi, soory but let me interrupt.

I think we still need to close minor details before asking to restore
CVS as is. Let us agree on a tar ball which will be put onto
    cvs.debian.org for DDP.

If possible, I would like to use this opportunity to clean up CVS and do
    some reorganization if others agree.

  2. Request to create a directory at gluck

    Sorry for an extra message:

I think request to the admin team can be as simple as follows:

    1. Create a directory "/org/cvs.debian.org/cvs/debian-doc"
    2. Set as:
    drwxrwsr-x 8 ???? Debian 4096 Feb ? 00:00 debian-doc

??? can be joy or aph (or any DD who you think is right.)

Then leave it with us. We as DDP team can take care from there.

We will ask reactivation of cron script in a separate mail if needed.

    Regards,

    Osamu

PS: As you know, this has to be done by the staff member.

  3. Re: Request to create a directory at gluck

    Sorry again. Clarification.

Although I think my proposal below is simpler for you as admin, if you
think Javi's proposal being easier to handle, please do so. (moving old
    CVS from /home/oldgluck/org/cvs.debian.org/cvs/debian-doc)

My atmost request is quick restoration of CVS archive since we have
    proofed contents.
