Hi,

I want to install a debian etch system with debootstrap.

But after the installation with the command

/usr/sbin/debootstrap --arch i386 etch /mnt/debinst
http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian

there are not all devices in /mnt/dev.

For example hda, hda1, ... is missing.

I know that I can copy the missing files form the main system (/dev to
/mnt/dev) and how to create them individual.

But, does someone know a command to create the files automatic (like a
normal installation from CD).

I use the "howto" form

http://www.debian.de/releases/stable...apds03.html.de

Thanks a lot

Thomas
