I have an older version of open-xchange running on my FreeBSD 5.5 server
and its been sometime since I built open-xchange. From the errors I see
above, It looks like you haven't put the servlet API in your classpath.
There are several required API's identified in the open-xchange
documentation. I obtained these API's from the ports or the Sun website
and installed them all under /usr/local/share/java/classes and made sure
both my build and runtime CLASSPATH is set appropriately. Here is a
listing of my /usr/local/share/java/classes directory, the last I
looked, there was a document on the open-xchange website specific for
    building open-xchange on FreeBSD.
