AIX & IBM DS4300 disk array
Hi All,

root@host # lsdev -C -c disk
....
hdisk129 Available 0A-08-01 1722-600 (600) Disk Array Device

hdisk131 Available 0A-08-01 1722-600 (600) Disk Array Device
hdisk132 Available 0A-08-01 1722-600 (600) Disk Array Device
hdisk133 Available 0A-08-01 1722-600 (600) Disk Array Device
root@host # /usr/sbin/lsdev -C -c disk -S a -F 'name class subclass
location parent'
......
hdisk129 disk fdar 0A-08-01 dar0
hdisk130 disk fdar 0A-08-01 dar0
hdisk131 disk fdar 0A-08-01 dar0
hdisk132 disk fdar 0A-08-01 dar0
hdisk133 disk fdar 0A-08-01 dar0
Note: hdisk129-133 are IBM Disk Devices.
Is this a configuration issue? If yes, how can we make sure that
DS4300 luns are visible as FC SCSI Disk Devices?
Can i some how change something so that the luns are visible as FC
SCSI disk devices.

why would you want to make a properly defined device description
generic?
