here from an AIX 5.2 ML8 box

>> lslpp -w /usr/lib/drivers/coreprobe.ext

It seems, that there ist some older stuff on the box. for me it worked
just to copy it into /etc/drivers (a symbolic link replyed "too man
symbolic links to translate ...")
