While the "alias net-pf-10 off" should be disabling the ipv6, check
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 and ensure you have
IPV6INIT=no
IPV6TO4INIT=no
Replace eth0, with the correct nic id. See if that makes any difference..
