I've had similar issues with Pan 1.32 on Ubuntu 7.10. Some images are
fine, others cut off halfway down or so. Pan 1.32 works fine on Fedora 7
and Ubuntu 7.04 variants(Mint 3.0, Kubuntu, Xubuntu etc). It might be an
issue with an updated library or component.
I've tried reinstalling it on 7.10 with no luck. In the lower right hand
corner of Pan there is an information button. Usually if there is
something wrong with the image decoding it will give a hint. You might
want to let the developers of Pan know.
Once I give Mandriva 2008 I'll see if the same thing happens.
