Net Nanny Any suggestions for the best Net-Nanny packages (if there are any
worthwhile) for (Ubuntu) Linux?
I have 2 kids that currently use an XP box. I am slowly working Windows
out of the house, but I want the machine somewhat protected, considering
that I am not always there when they use the computer.
I did a cursory google search, but can't find anything. So, I thought
I'd ask here. If there is something good, it would eradicate another XP
piece of crap from my house. ;-)
Currently, they use Blue Coat K9 Web Protection, and it works well.
Very little configuration needed, keeps reports of all sites visited,
halts the connection if there are repeated attempts to go to disallowed
sites, etc. It'd be great if there were something like that out
there...
