Please don't top post.
An RRD45 should be fine for booting and installing Tru64. You mention that
you burned the disk from an ISO image, what is the source of your ISO? As
far as I'm aware, DEC/Compaq/HP never made Tru64 available as an ISO image.
Perhaps you should go back to the original media and try that? I have had
problems with copies of Tru64 CD's in the past, especially if I used
Windows/PC based copy programs.
