The 500W PS will rarely if ever 'pull' 500W. 500W is its rated max OUTput,
not input. At this moment I'm running three machines, each with PS's over
550W, six LCD monitors, along with seven USB hubs, two LAN switches and a
modem. Total wattage on the system is at ±588W. The Wattmeter is the beige
unit to the right of the keyboard:
